Sometime around 4 years old, I had one of those portable record players that looked like a small suitcase when you closed it up. I had a shoebox full of 45’s, these small records that usually carried only one hit song on it. I had others that would read me stories while I turned the pages of a book that went along with it, reminding me with a “chime” when to turn the page.
We all need mentorship. People who support us by listening, reflecting back, and witnessing us.

My intention in starting this blog is to share some deeper stories about myself. I believe we all have extraordinary stories and that to share them, especially their vulnerable parts, helps us all to realize that we are not alone in our struggles, challenges, and in the things we have to be proud of–if we pause and think about it all, really.
